Wesiona D. Walker is a dedicated and compassionate individual who is committed to fostering positive change, healing, and growth in individuals as well as communities. She has a master’s degree in social work, from Sacred Heart University and she is also a certified Christian counselor.
Sometimes as human beings we experience trauma or severe life stressors that leave us feeling unworthy, helpless, confused and unraveled. Wesiona is enthusiastic in her desire to help bring healing to others in a safe, supportive, non-judgmental space. She believes that her personal life experiences and her direct engagement with vulnerable populations have strengthened her ability to establish genuine connections with individuals seeking support and healing.
While no single approach is the right one for every individual, Wesiona believes in starting with an individualized approach when identifying the right modality for anyone seeking help. However, her experience using person-centered, trauma-informed skills has helped her to be effective when working with youth, adults, families, and groups.
Wesiona believes she has a unique gift to support, empower and influence change in the lives of others and considers herself to be an agent of change. She faith in action is that no matter what challenges you have faced in life, things can change - leading you to experience healing, wholeness and transformation that will help you embrace a healthy fulfilling life.
